Favorite Blanket Picks

We are familiar with cotton sheets that we use when sleeping on our beds. The thicker ones sometimes made from wool and other fibers are called blankets. We use them mainly for the warmth that they provide. But we use blankets for other purposes. They are great to take along on picnics to keep our bodies warm. Yoga practitioners also use them to soften the impact of the hard floor while doing the different positions.

Blankets come in various designs and colors. One of my favorite is a fringed throw blanket in herringbone design. It is naturally soft, comfortable and perfect for year round use. Another great pick is made of micro cotton. The fabric structure wicks away moisture and breathes well with tiny air pockets between the fibers.
