After my sister had finally called it quits with her boyfriend, she asked me if she could stay at my place while she irons out everything and find a new apartment for herself. She wanted to get out of her boyfriend’s house right away and would not want anything to do with him. I know that she is in pain and would not want to see him. I am actually relieved that she had left him.
I immediately said yes and told her I will be fixing up my spare room for her. After all, this room is only stocked with a few clothes and clutter of mine so at least now it would have some use. I got some modern bedding ensembles and cleaned up the entire room to make space for her. I am happy that we are together, even if it meant being so only for a short while.
