It’s relatively easy to tell children’s bedding from those of adults’. Kids’ bedding typically feature juvenile designs and frivolous motifs. Girls’ bedding are generally in pastel tones with garden, princess, or fairy themes. On the other hand, boys’ bedding are predominantly in darker shades and are enhanced with bold, playful patterns such as balls, animals, and vehicles. Many kids’ bedding also flaunts popular cartoon characters. They may also have colorful geometric or striped patterns.

The sizes of the bedding can be quite telling as well. In general, children’s bedding do not come in Queen and King sizes like standard bedding do. Often, flat and fitted sheets for kids’ beds are available in Twin or Double sizes only. This is to be expected, considering the size of youngsters and their corresponding smaller beds.
