Egyptian cotton sheets

When my husband and I got married, we received quite a number of wedding gifts. An aunt of mine gave us Egyptian cotton sheets. My husband was delighted at the gift because he said that they were the best. We received other sheets as wedding gifts as well but none were Egyptian cotton sheets. When we tried the Egyptian cotton sheets we really felt a difference, it seemed much softer than ordinary sheets.
If you are very particular with the sheets you sleep in, you might want to try Egyptian cotton sheets. They are made from cotton grown alongside the Nile River; this exemplary cotton is durable and feels shiny and silky. The fibers are longer than those of ordinary cotton. For some people thread count also matters, the fewer the thread count, the less silky the feel. Also the fewer the thread count, the fabric is more prone to tears after frequent washings.
