Though fresh fruits and berries, insects and some nuts are usually what oriole birds usually eat, nectar still becomes their favorite flavor. Oriole bird feeders vary in different shapes and sizes but most bird enthusiasts say that finding the right feeder is so easy. One technique to attract orioles and feed them is to lay out a bowl of orange marmalade or better yet, buy feeders especially designed for the fruit slices and marmalade. There are other kinds available in the market that will surely delight every oriole in your place.

It is best to keep safe the oriole bird feeders. Once you’ve decided which one to purchase, be reminded of the following guidelines:~ don’t ever hang an oriole feeder in direct sunlight~ better to hang it in a shaded area since fruit and nectar spoil easily and if they do, they might cause the oriole to get sick~ change fresh fruits daily~ provide orioles with nesting materials like grasses, chips and plant fibers~ during the summer season, make readily available a drinking and bathing source for the oriole
