Bird watching is one of the most relaxing activities. Bird watchers swear that it is the ultimate stress buster. Other people may think that bird watching is boring. But there is a rewarding feeling when one waits patiently to finally see a majestic sight of birds flying in the horizon. When you see these birds flying you will realize that the long wait is worth it.
One of the best birds to watch are the purple martins. They are said to migrate to the Amazon during winter. During migration these birds need a place to rest. They usually find holes in trees for this but some are not lucky enough to find holes to occupy. That is why people help out by putting up purple martin bird houses so they have enough spaces to rest in while they are in the process of moving to a warmer place.
