Kiddie Garden

As a way to bond with my children, I have started a gardening project with them. Since I have a small patch in my backyard left after I had it landscaped, I decided to spend time with my kids and plant some produce in the back part of the garden. This will provide me some fun and educational time with my children after their school is through.

We have planted lettuce, carrots and other produce in the small patch. We also installed a school birdhouse and fences to separate the area from the rest of the backyard. This was the most special part in my home, as I have had the chance to keep some wonderful memories of the time we spent in this very space. In a few months’ time, we will all be enjoying the produce we have planted and embark on another bonding session as we cook in the kitchen.
