Birdhouses come in a variety of designs. Some are made with function in mind more than form. This is true for most birdhouses that are made specifically to attract certain bird species. Sometimes though, one can come across a birdhouse that is so whimsical in design, you can’t help but smile. The Riverboat Queen birdhouse is one such design.

Modeled after traditional paddle boats of the early 19th century, this birdhouse is designed with form in mind. It’s cute, quirky but definitely detailed. It brings to mind the Mississippi River. In fact, some paddle boats still travel up and down that river. Guaranteed to make any birdwatcher or bird, smile in delight.
