You can buy one in a traditional design and hang it up in a tree branch. You can buy several, as a matter of fact, and spread it around your garden. Fill it with birdseeds and before long, God’s little creations will fly in and snap up the food. But if you want to make bird houses as a personal project, it will give you a feeling of satisfaction. It is easy and you will have the right to feel smug about creating homes for nature’s gentle creatures.

While you’re at it, why will you want to build a traditional bird house? Surely, it will not matter to the birds, but wouldn’t you want to create a fancy bird house? Whatever the design of the house, birds will come. But, your goal is not just to attract the birds. You want to beautify your garden as well. So, check out some patterns and start with a gratifying summer project.
