wooden porch swings

I always envisioned myself living in modest home with a porch and a patio. A porch with wooden porch swings. Facing the patio would be a small garden full of flowering plants. And the patio would have a collection of herbs and spices. Yes it is quite a dream house.

Actually I’m torn between a log cabin house and a country home. Coming from a family in the lower Manhattan made me look for the serenity of the more rustic scenery. I have this longing to get away from the metropolis and bring me back to nature. My parents support me in my vision. My friends however are saying a different tune. They think that I’ll die of boredom once I have that dream home.
