Most people think that cut flowers won’t last long. Contrary to popular belief, cut flowers can last a very long time, depending on how you care for them. Most floral arrangements are made from flowers that are cut before they’ve fully bloomed. To help them bloom better, use flower food. Also called flower preservatives, these nutrients help make cut flowers last longer.
Here are some tips on how to let your flowers last longer:1. Recut the stems before you put them in new water. 2. Use lukewarm water. 3. Make sure that your flowers are not under direct sunlight. 4. Use floral foam so the flower food can be thoroughly absorbed by the flowers.
