More and more people spend time outdoors. For most people, hanging out in nature is meditation or at the very least quiet time. Sitting on wooden benches thinking of nothing is a great way to recharge your batteries. Even people watching in the park, during lunch breaks is great fun. Spending time outdoors even for an hour a day will bring down your stress level making you last longer and perform better at work.
We should have more parks in highly urbanized areas. We live in a very stressful world. We should do whatever it takes to bring our stress levels down. Parks with wood benches will do just that. At the very least, parks will help control carbon monoxide levels in check.
