They have become popular, mounted on the wall or standing by the doorway. Wall fountains have gained acceptance most especially in believers of feng shui. The Chinese interpreters of feng shui believe that flowing water attracts good luck. For this reason, we see works of art in the form of paintings and glass etchings in prominent places in offices. It is supposed to attract good business.

Whether we are believers in feng shui or not, there is another practical side to setting up wall fountains. The pleasant sound of flowing water can drown out sounds that are annoying. Sounds like the noise of traffic if we live near a busy highway or the sound of pets howling in the night. Go to bed with a wall fountain by your bed and you will sleep long and deep and wake up relaxed in the morning.
