We all know that art is an expression of beauty and skills. This is why we love having art forms as décor in our homes. Blown glass art is actually one of the oldest known art forms. It is done by inflating the molten glass into a bubble by use of a blow tube or blow pipe. Glassmith, glass blower or gaffer is the person responsible for glass blowing.

There are several types of blown glass art:

~Painting in glass – rich and bold colors are used to come up with this particular type. It is popular for its absolute brilliance and clarity
~Paperweights – very popular in offices; available in various shapes, colors and designs
~Glass pumpkin – especially made during Halloween
~Glass bowls – used as decorative accent; base colors are usually bright and bold
