The Benefits of Composting

Gardening can be a passion for some people. In the process they will inevitably come across the process of composting. Their first question will be “what are benefits of composting“? To experienced as well as amateur gardeners, the word composting is always tied up with environmental issues. The first benefit of composting that comes to mind is environmental. It helps clean up contaminated soil and it makes use of materials that are considered waste.

But that is not the only benefit that we can get from composting. It also has economic benefits. Compost soil is healthy and it will reduce the use of fertilizers. That can be a substantial financial savings. Compost soil is also good for the plant. It is a more conducive setting for better moisture absorption and drainage.
