Green products

There are broad applications of the principle of environmentally friendly practices. Green products and services are applicable in building and construction, cleaning, electronics, food services and many others. Some of these impact us more than others. Green cleaning for example is all about maintaining and improving cleanliness while protecting the environment from risks posed by cleaning materials. In modern consumerism, manufacturers of electronics commit to eliminate toxic chemicals, increase energy efficiency and assume responsibility for electronic waste.

There are a lot we can do to contribute to a green environment. We can walk, bike or take public transportation whenever possible. If we can’t help taking a car, trips should be combined to reduce mileage. Carpooling and keeping a well maintained car is also a big help. It is said that the average office employee generates a ton of garbage each year, nearly half of it paper. Reduce this by previewing documents carefully before photo copying.
