• Table height – It needs to be at a level that makes it comfortable to maneuver your sewing machine. Generally, a table surface should be about 28 inches from the floor.
• Space – Consider the things you will have on the table aside from your sewing machine such as pattern books, fabric, etc.
• Storage – Most sewing cabinets have drawers, storage bins and bookshelves.
• Mobility – See if you will need a table with sturdy wheels so you can easily move the sewing cabinet around.
