thin ribbons

After I got laid off from work, I wanted to make a little extra money on the side. I don’t want to rely on my husband’s salary alone. So, what I did was to look for a little business that I can operate from my home.

I thought about making hair accessories for girls, because they are quite easy to do, and I don’t have to put up a lot of capital for it. What I did was to get ordinary plain headbands and decorate them with strips of thin ribbons and multi-colored sequins. My daughter wore them to school and we got a lot of orders for my project! Now my days are filled with making more types of accessories, and the orders just keep on coming!
