It may look simple but truth is, it’s not that easy to give a home a face lift. There are just so many things to consider to be able to do that. And one of them is collaborating the items that you already have with the new items that you’ve chosen to add.

Some of the dilemmas and questions in my mind are “…I like keeping this big chair but it won’t fit my concept of minimalist design…” or “…I want to change the whole furniture sets but I want to keep the drapes on even if the color doesn’t fit in…”. Such complications are taxing to what your concept is and what’s not. But don’t worry, since designing is not based on what you want others to see it since it, but rather on what you want them to see in you. To simplify things, just keep old furnishings and decors that in whichever era you choose, they will always fit in. Just like wooden furniture and exotic decors like tapestries. Both just never seem to go out of style. With these simple yet timeless furnishings, you can have that contemporary look you want while maintaining the classic elegance in your home.
