embroidery quilt designs

We’re taking on a special project for our sorority’s fundraising program. We were divided into several committees and each must have a project to sell at the event. Our committee chose to sell quilts, to complement the bedding project started by another committee.

We were planning on doing three quilts which would feature embroidery quilt designs. One would feature our sorority’s logo (and we hope our alumnae sisters would pick this up!), and the other two would feature designs that represent our local county. We’re quite excited to start; we’ve met several people who will help us create these quilts. Most of us members will be working on the logo quilt while our volunteers will have command of the other designs. If the quilts become a success at the fundraiser we plan on making it a permanent plan.
