A cherub is also an angel; but when we think of cherub we usually refer to a child angel. This is why some people are fond of having a cherub statue in their homes. Cherub statues are usually placed in the garden. Because they are made of stone, they are perfect in the outdoors. They can also be incorporated in bird baths or set up in pedestals. When made of marble, they don’t need a lot of care but statues made of stone or cement are porous so there is a possibility for them to grow molds or moss.

You will find beautiful designs of cherub statues. Some are naughty like the pissing cherub; others are cute, like the playful one hanging from a vine. One has a very formal stance, just standing straight with folded hands. Another is playing music from lire. Whatever their pose cherub statues are always a pleasant thing to behold.
