Wrought iron makes beautiful planter pieces. They may stand elegantly either by itself or set up under windows. When you think of window boxes, you are reminded of the French who love to decorate their homes with it. French homes have limited space and they usually are not blessed with a garden space as well. They make up for it by putting up window boxes in their tiny patios and verandas.

Wrought iron window boxes blend very well with the iron railings in their verandas. It is sturdy and elegant at the same time. The designs are unique, oftentimes drawn by the owners themselves. Some are simple following a grid design. Others are more intricate with curved patterns and twisted bars.
