vinyl plank flooring

There are different materials that you can use for your flooring. This can range from bare cement to exotic wooden planks. Ceramic and vinyl tiles are also commonly used. Among all these, vinyl plank flooring seems to be the easiest to maintain. Manufacturers of vinyl tile and sheet flooring apply a clear, tough acrylic, vinyl or urethane sealer that helps keep the surface durable. They can remain true no-wax surfaces for many years.

Vinyl floors should be swept often to remove dirt or grit that can scratch the shiny finish. Mopping up with soap and water is sometimes all that is needed to remove marks caused by dirty soles. Too much soaping, however, can shorten the life of the factory applied polish. Rinsing immediately with clean water will avoid this. Also, applying a thin layer of wax will do well to extend the life of your vinyl flooring.
