How to install tile floor

Ceramic is a durable and attractive material for floors. It is easy to maintain and is very ideal as bathroom or kitchen tiles. How to install tile floor requires preparation and patience. You will need tools specific to laying ceramic tiles. So be sure to do a check list of tools and materials first before beginning your project.
If you are laying tiles on both walls and floor, do the walls first. Take note that there is a difference between the two types of tiles. Floor tiles are much thicker and are textured to make them safer to walk on without easily breaking. Make sure too that you remove the original flooring material before you install new tile since new floor tile installation is only as good as the underlying floor.
