Plate Overload

Gifts will always and forever be a part of weddings. Usually, people would give household items like irons, plates, glassware, trays, and coat racks. This custom pretty much helps out the newlyweds since they won’t have to spend so much on household items when they move into their new home. When my brother got married, I had to help him bring some of the gifts home because they couldn’t fit in his car anymore.

Dinnerware is a popular gift, it seems. I think we loaded a number of boxes from decorative glass plates to stylish sets like the Mikasa red berries dinnerware carried. If I broke one box, I don’t think they’d mind with all the other new plates they have. My brother and his wife don’t need to worry about running out of plates in the future.
