pasta cooker

Cooking pasta has been a tricky business for me. It seems I could never get it quite right, so when I’m cooking I just try to rescue the pasta by serving it with an outrageous sauce. The tack always worked, but I think one of my friends noticed it and gave me a pasta cooker for Christmas. Oh joy!

I’ve been using the pasta cooker ever since. People then seemed to sense something was different; maybe it was the pasta? When they mention that I just try to downplay it and say, “Oh, the pasta’s always been the same! I just put in a little drop of olive oil!” My friends think I’m a genius.
