pot rack

When we decided to build our own house, my husband said he would take charge of the kitchen. It’s an unusual situation as most wives consider the kitchen their domain. In our home, it’s my husband who loves to cook and entertain people. I chose to be in charge of the bedrooms. My husband listed down several things that the new kitchen needed to have: a pot rack for his collection of steel and copper pots and pans, a huge refrigerator, a griller, and an oven.

My husband can sometimes get too carried away. If we had more money he said, he’d even build a brick oven for pizzas! I couldn’t imagine a brick oven inside a home. I’ve always thought they belonged only in restaurants. I was happy with the pot rack and the grillers. I didn’t think we needed all the other equipment since we only had one child. I guess, he thought maybe in the future I might want to take up cooking.
