Poker Face

My husband like a lot of men is not into details. When we visit a home of a friend for instance, I remember how the furniture looks like and how the place is designed. My husband doesn’t even remember the food. When it was time for us to begin designing our apartment, he suddenly had so many ideas. I told him I wanted Tiffany style lighting for our foyer. He had no idea what I was talking about until he remembered that he saw these Tiffany lights in poker games.

Apparently I learned Tiffany style lighting is not only perfect for cozy nooks in your house, it is also perfect for poker games. It makes sense, after all poker players need to mask their emotions. Tiffany style lighting is not harsh and bright. It is cozy and evokes stillness. A person’s features may be obscured using this type of lighting.
