We bought our home from a family who has owned it for several generations. One of the questions we asked was whether the house still had its original paint on. The owner says he wasnât sure, but he supposed that the original paint was already painted on.
That was a lead warning sign for me. So, before we moved in, I had my husband remove the house paint with a paint stripper. Better safe than sorry.
