Having large rugs or area rugs are common in most homes. But some don’t use rug pads under them. Rug pads can protect your beautiful rugs from the usual wear and tear. They can also help reduce the noise and keep the room quieter.

Rug pads also help keep rugs in place. They have non-slip surfaces that prevent rug movement and possible accidents. Rug pads can also be used on carpets so the rug and the carpet won’t be so close to each other. Some rugs might transfer their colors on unprotected carpet. And it helps prevent stains from spills on the rugs.
