The Al Gore movie “An Inconvenient Truth” has helped raise awareness on global warming. We all have to do our part in saving the environment. Choosing to do your part to save the environment is a step we should all take. Some people have changed their lives completely and devoted their time to find ways to protect the earth. Some communities have even invested in renewable energy systems to sustain their way of life.

The move to save the environment is already being implemented all over the world. I know of a city which has chosen to replace their public transportation system with electric powered buses and taxis. The communities who have chosen renewable energy systems have chosen to use solar power, wind, water, and waste management. Many homes are in fact already choosing to use solar power as an alternative source of energy. There is also an ongoing campaign to use bio fuel as an alternative to gasoline and oil.
