Let us do our part in saving the environment for future generations. Going green is actually not that hard to do. There are many living green tips you can follow without having to break the bank or chew up what’s left of your free time. By doing these, you’ll even save money in the process.

Here are several living green tips that you can immediately apply at home:~Put a brick in the cistern of your toilet bowl to reduce the amount of water in each flush~Make it a habit to catch water that’s wasted in the shower while the water is heating up. Use the excess water to flush the toilet or water your plants.~Always remember to turn off the tap while you shave or brush your teeth at the sink.~Turn off remote-controlled appliances using the off switch instead of just the remote. Unplug appliances when not in use.~If you are leaving a room for more than 10 minutes, it’s cheaper to switch the light off.~Don’t put hot food in the refrigerator. Let it cool down first.
