With the high cost of energy, we tend to scrimp on our outdoor lighting. We settle for a single bulb to light up our yard. Sometimes we even do without. Solar energy can power many different lighting needs including walkway lights, security lights and portable spotlight stands. Installing outdoor solar light is easy. You don’t have to deal with unsightly wires that have to be plugged into a socket.

Setting up your lights can be as simple as hanging lanterns from a tree. You can also stake a pole into the ground and hang a decorative solar light fixture. It requires practically no maintenance work or expense. And another good thing about these solar lights is that they have darkness sensors. They automatically turn on and off as needed.
