These saving tips are practical, doable and can actually reduce your energy budget. While we can opt to practice these savings suggestions, a better way is to take advantage of home solar power; maybe not for all our appliances but for a few key ones. If we produce solar power for our home we will be benefiting from unpolluted solar energy. It is sustainable and environmentally friendly. It requires very little maintenance and it will definitely bring your energy cost down.
Aside from use inside the home, there are other applications of solar power. There are solar powered car ventilators, solar flashlights, solar video cameras, purifiers, heaters, and fountain pumps. A recent development makes use of solar power to charge cell phones. We decorate our gardens with solar lights that we line down the pathways. They are both beautiful and functional and they cost us a fraction of wiring up the garden for traditional lighting.
