We’ve heard about many people using solar panels for their home. If you haven’t tried even once in your office or at home, you are already missing a great deal of chance to save a lot in your electric consumption. Of course there are things that hinder you from finally using the solar system. You’re afraid of the cost, you just don’t know how and when to start, and you might not just be able to convince others. Well, there’s one solution to the first two you mentioned: build your own solar panel and have a changed lifestyle.

This is quite a savings because, with only less than $200 on hand, you’d be able to do it and later on share it with others. There are four (4) easy steps to follow and remember:

~ Research the subject before you start constructing the solar array for your home; understand the scientific processes well to avoid possible problems
~ Draw your designs; make sure you know your household power requirement and the sufficiency of the energy from the solar system to support the project
~ once your design is done, have your designs approved by the local officials, are your designs matching the local official’s building code
