A solar attic fan uses the sun rays to exhaust hot air from the attic. They are easy to install and will not bother you with noise or things like that. While heat and air circulation is the big advantage of a solar attic fan there are other benefits. Attic fans will increase fresh air circulation and reduce vapor build up. Excess moisture trapped in the attic can cause more problems than just heightened temperature. It can cause rotting, bacteria and molds. Installing an attic fan will prevent all these; and installing one powered by solar rays will save you money on energy.
