One segment of this industry that will impact households significantly is the matter of heating the home. You may have been conscientious about making sure that insulation is intact. You may have installed drapes and blinds that will let the sunlight in during the daytime and the heat in at night. You can go one more step further by installing solar panels that will supply you with solar heating. It will be your key to a cheap sustainable source of heating energy.

In cold climate, an efficient heating system for the home is a necessity. They are needed almost the whole year round. When deciding where to build your house, a good solar resource should be considered. I don’t believe this is being done at the present time. Wouldn’t it be an advantage if developers input solar heating facilities in homes that they build? Wouldn’t it be a big come-on to buyers?
