Made by Robert Bosch, Skil is a brand of power tools which may be small in size but not in power. The brand was even more popularized by the great worm drive people come to know as the skil saw. It is so well-known that there came a time when people call all portable circular saws as skil saw. But what exactly is a skil saw?

Skil saw in terms of power is unsurpassed. It has more than enough power to cut through and rip almost everything. It has a great balance for a worm drive and is easier to use primarily because of the depth adjustment available. Though some consider it heavy, the more late models are about 3 pounds lighter.
