Religious persons tend to collect religious items but instead of scattering them around the house, they are placed in a part of the room that serves as an altar. Here, there will be religious statues of the Holy Family and various favorite saints. Religious wall décor will be set against the wall or hang on the wall. This is a place where candles are lit and flowers are put in vases as a form of veneration. This is where the family gathers to pray. It is not a very common part of a modern home but prayer rooms or altars still exist in old homes.
Some of the new religious wall arrivals in religious stores are museum replicas of wall plaques. It provides a formal element when hang in the foyer of a house. It can be a wooden wall relief of Archangel Michael slaying the devil crafted with fantastic detail work. It can also be a stone wall art of Archangel Gabriel sounding the trumpet. Whichever you choose will add a new dimension to your home.
