When we moved into our new apartment, the previous tenant forgot a few of their stuff. One of the things they forgot was their metal wind chimes. They left it on the balcony. We have not taken it down. We enjoy the sound of the chimes each time the wind blows. Since we live on the fifteenth floor, it can sometimes get very windy.
The sound that the metal wind chimes make in the morning is very relaxing. We enjoy waking up to it. It is also a good warning device whenever there is an approaching storm. Just last week for example, there were strong winds and rains. The wind chimes warned us of how strong the winds were. My dog would bark every time he heard the metal wind chimes. That was our signal to take down our laundry from the drying rack in the balcony.
