A harmonically tuned wind chime will be great inside or outdoors. What will be even greater are chimes that are powered not by the wind but by the sun. Let the sun take care of creating the soft magical sound wherever you wish to position them. Who ever thought of a tabletop solar chime? Chimes are supposed to be powered by the wind. Not anymore. They can now be powered by electricity and the ever practical solar energy.
Solar chimes have wonderful decorative qualities all their own. Check out the solar mobile that depicts butterflies. It moves in a circular motion while hanging from a metal vine. They are easy to set-up as it adheres to the window with suction cups. Another beauty is a tabletop version of the window charm. It will blend with furniture inside the house, be it wood or leather.
